Verder heb je sfeerlampen die meer bedoelt zijn accentverlichting die meer bedoelt zijn om een bepaalde sfeer te creëren of om een voorwerp meer tot uiting te brengen. Misschien heb je bij je voordeur een mooie beeld dat nog mooier gemaakt kan worden met een hangende accentlamp. Of je kunt eentje bij je boekenkast plaatsen zodat men de titels goed kunnen doornemen en misschien ook een boek kunnen lezen.
De kleur is natuurlijk ook belangrijk. Men kiest er tegenwoordig voor om gekleurde lampen te nemen, maar als je een goed verlichte ruimte wilt hebben is wit altijd de beste keus. Je kunt de lampen ook bedienen zodat ze van kleur kunnen veranderen zodat je de lamp bij het sfeer kunt aanpassen.
Daarnaast moet je ook de lampen uitkiezen die je wilt gebruiken. Er is keuze genoeg. Een spaarlamp is energiebesparend en heeft een ongeveer vier maal hogere lichtopbrengst per wattage dan een gewone gloeilamp. Een halogeenlamp heeft een langere levensduur, geeft wit licht en is geschikt voor diverse toepassingen.
